Thank you for your prayers and continued support of the Church Planting Program at KTS. Please take time to look at these prayer requests.

1. Pray please for the Church Planting Program's # one need, new students! Joing us in asking the Lord to send us more students than we can think or ask this next year. Pray for God to send the students that we need.
2. Joel is feeling very strongly that he should export our church planting program to various Bible Colleges in Ukraine. He has already done this in three Bible colleges.  This is very important because it exposes young men and local pastors to the KTS Church Planting Program, resulting hopefully in new students for the seminary. Sergey Bochko has started going with Joel, both to translate and to teach. Please pray for both Joel and Sergey Bochko as the challenge young men to hear the Lord's call to plant churches here in Ukraine and the former Soviet Union...
3. Pray for Mary Ellen and me as we continue to evaluate our church planting curriculum for the next few years. After operating in the program for 6 years, we realize that some things have been more successful than others. We have made some major changes...and God appears to be showing us the way he wants us to go.  Pray that the Lord will continue to guide us as we follow His leading.
   

Projects that are in the Planning

• Visiting volunteer teams coming to help church starts. Pray for wisdom as we work out details of each group.
• The possibility to partner with other Great Commission Chrisitians who are working in the area of Church Planting Joel has met with several others who have like visions to ours. Pray for us to know who to work with and who to just bless in the ministry.
• For a long time we have been working on a means to expand our Church Planting Major to the Bible Schools around the country. This involves not only finding the best way to video the class lectures, but it also involves decisions about course credit, professors to monitor video sessions and be responsible for classes. Pray for clear direction on this project.

General Requests for all International Mission Board Missionaries in Ukraine:

1. Pray continuously for guidance and that God will bring the Ukrainian people to himself.
2. Pray for Grace, Perseverance and Skill in learning the Ukrainian or Russian language. For some, this is the main goal of the first or even the second year of service.
3. Pray for Grace, Perseverance and Skill in training Ukrainian believers to be leaders in the churches through discipleship.
4. Pray for greater participation among Ukrainian Baptist churches in church planting programs.
5. Pray for God to work in training leaders through the Seminaries, Bible Institutes and other leadership training programs in Ukraine.
6. Pray for favor and wisdom and love for our national people as we individually witness in the setting that the Lord puts each one of us.
