Dr. Bill Henard arrived this morning, took a 3 hour nap to help supplement the loss of sleep he had last weekend. Afterwards he came to our apartment for dinner. Shown here in our kitchen Joel and Dr. Henard find plenty to talk about.

This is a very vocal class and the discussions often become heated.

After all the pizza, coke and fruit they could eat, the men gathered in our living room for fellowship and a chance to get to know their professor better in an informal setting.

Sunday, April 6, 2008 

 Sunday morning Dr. Henard preached at Open Hearts Church.  Sergei Bochko the translator for the Church Planting Department is the pastor of this church plant.

After church, as is the custom in most churches there is a fellowship time where everyone shares in conversation, cookies and tea. It is a great way to make visitors feel welcome and also to meet new people. Shown above Dr. Henard is meeting IMB missionaries, Shannon and Katie Ford.

Tuesday, April 8th 

Today, Tuesday Morning, Dr. Henard spoke in chapel, challenging students and faculty alike to live a life of integrity. 

Wednesday, April 9th

Wednesday evening we had a Doctor friend of Dr. Henard's over for dinner to talk with her about partnering with us for medical missions.  We are praying that something really special will come out of this meeting for all of us.
